Come and learn about your body's natural signs of fertility, and how to achieve or prevent a pregnancy. Class meets once a month for three months.
This course is suitable for couples, and is the required course for engaged Catholic couples. *Please note that the majority of couples who take this class are interested in non-hormonal methods of birth control, and are not necessarily Catholic*
Breastfeeding mothers welcome (this method works well even for breastfeeding moms). Babysitting available for the teeny-tiny ones with prior arrangements.
Cost is $40 per couple and includes the book, payable at the first class. If you need assistance with the cost, please let me know as there are limited scholarships available through the Youngstown Diocese.
Typically, I offer this class 2-3 times per year, and limit participation to 5 couples.
Since I am a midwife, babies are always a possibility in my world, so I've built in "rain dates" in case I have to cancel a class. Schedule is as follows:
Thursday, February 23: Class I
(rain date, March 1)
Thursday, March 29: Class II
(rain date, April 5, following day is Good Friday)
Thursday, April 26: Class III
(rain date, May 3)
